Mr. Gallagher brings over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry to RizzoDay. Prior to receiving his law degree, he worked as a claims adjuster at the nation’s largest automobile and homeowner’s insurance company. Having an in-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, Mr. Gallagher primarily practices in all aspects of Insurance Defense including first-party personal injury protection claims (including provider claims), fire and theft claims, third party negligence and bodily injury claims, uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, property protection insurance claims, and the recovery of various benefits on behalf of insurers. He also devotes a significant portion of his practice toward analyzing insurance policy provisions and investigating potentially fraudulent insurance claims, conducting examinations under oath, and providing opinions and recommendations to insurers. Mr. Gallagher has successfully represented a variety of clients from individuals to multi-billion dollar corporations.
Mr. Gallagher was a well-seasoned negotiator before he began practicing law, which, along with his interpersonal skills, has been the foundation of his law practice. Mr. Gallagher’s practice extends across Michigan, in state and federal courts. He was a Senior Associate Editor of the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review, received certificates of merit, volunteered at pro bono clinics at the Hispanic Center of Western Michigan and Degage Ministries, and finished in the top 7% of his graduating class.
